About Us
Ihlozi Lodge is a luxury 4-star bush lodge and the ultimate bush getaway where guests can enjoy, relax and experience the peace and serenity of the pure bush.
Ihlozi Bush Lodge is located within the exclusive Kuleni Nature Conservancy (a Private Game Farm), which is home to Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Nyala and other small antelope species. The farm is situated on 200Ha of pristine Indigenous bush , offering amazing +- 20Km of marked walking and cycling trails through the reserve and a hide down at the dam for those into their birding.
None of the animals have any predators as there are no big 5 in the park. This means that the Giraffe and other animals are very used to human contact. If you are walking on the trails you can get very close to the animals without them becoming alarmed or skittish, which makes for unique encounters and photos.

The Lodge
We are excited to offer NEW booking options for our guests! Book the entire lodge for up to 8 adults and 2 children on a self-catering basis, OR choose to book just the Chalet for up to 4 adults and up to 4 children (it’ll be tight though!). For couples, our Love room is ideal- it’s available with meals prepared by our US-trained owner (seasonally), or as a “bed only” option.
The entrance to the Villa is through 2 large wooden doors that lead into an open-plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge, all of which are wheelchair accessible! The fully equipped kitchen contains a large double-door fridge-freezer, ample food storage, a 5-plate gas stove and an oven.
The Villa’s main living area opens onto a massive deck with an outdoor lounge, dining table and braai, offering guests the opportunity to view the local wildlife walking through the bush garden. On either side of the main living area are 2 en-suite bedrooms and a TV room.
The Chalet: From the main living area, it’s a short walk through the garden along raised walkways lit up at night creating an incredible outdoor ambience. The walkways lead to a swimming pool, a second bar and lounge area and the other 2 en-suite bedrooms. The 4 air-conditioned bedrooms are furnished with either King or Queen-size beds and have en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at. The place is clean, comfy and stunning. At night the bush comes to life and sounds like a symphony is being sung just for you. I highly recommend Ihlozi to those who want to unwind and enjoy a break from civilisation.

On-site maid service (Thandi is a delight!) makes clean-up a breeze. Thandi also offers full laundry service for a small fee.

House Rules
Children of all ages are welcome. Free crib provided upon request. Any additional beds are available upon request and require a fee.
No parties or events permitted. Guests need be quiet between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
No smoking. No pets.
If you cause damage to the property during your stay, you could be asked to pay up to ZAR 1,000 after check-out
